White Beach, locally known as Basdaku, is Moalboal's premier white sand beach destination. Stretching nearly a kilometer along the coast, this beautiful beach offers the classic tropical paradise experience that Panagsama Beach lacks. The beach features powdery white sand, clear turquoise waters, and a gentle slope perfect for swimming. Unlike the rocky Panagsama Beach, Basdaku is ideal for families, sunbathing, and beach activities. The area is dotted with resorts, cottages for rent, and local eateries serving fresh seafood. While not as famous for marine life as Panagsama, the snorkeling here is still decent, and the beach atmosphere is more relaxed and family-friendly. It's a great place to spend a lazy afternoon after morning diving or snorkeling activities.

Tips for Visitors

1Arrive early to get the best cottage spots. Bring your own food and drinks to save money (no corkage fee). Weekends can get crowded with local visitors. The beach is about 15 minutes from Panagsama Beach.

How to Get There

From Panagsama Beach, take a tricycle or habal-habal to White Beach/Basdaku (PHP 50-80, 15 minutes). From Moalboal town, head north along the coastal road to Barangay Saavedra.
