Sirao Flower Garden, affectionately known as 'Cebu's Little Amsterdam' or 'Mini Holland,' is a picturesque flower farm located in the mountainous Barangay Sirao. The garden burst into popularity for its stunning displays of colorful celosia flowers, which create a vibrant sea of orange, yellow, red, and pink blooms reminiscent of the tulip fields of the Netherlands. The garden is situated about 17 kilometers from Cebu City proper, at an elevation that provides cool mountain air and a refreshing escape from the tropical heat below. Visitors can wander through rows of meticulously maintained flower beds, pose among the blooms, and enjoy the scenic mountain backdrop. The garden also features sunflowers, hyacinths, and various seasonal flowers. While primarily a working flower farm that supplies local flower markets, Sirao has embraced tourism with photo-op installations, viewing decks, and a small café. The garden is particularly beautiful during the dry season when the flowers are in full bloom and the weather is clear.

Tips for Visitors

1Visit early morning (7-9 AM) or late afternoon (4-6 PM) for best lighting and cooler weather. Late January to May offers the best blooms. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Combine with nearby Temple of Leah and Tops Lookout.

How to Get There

Located in Barangay Sirao along Cebu Transcentral Highway. From JY Square, take a habal-habal (PHP 100-150). Taxi or Grab from city center costs around PHP 300-400. About 30-45 minutes from the city.
