Mantayupan Falls, also known locally as 'Ambakan,' is renowned as the tallest waterfall in Cebu with a majestic 98-meter drop. Located in Barili, about 45 minutes north of Moalboal, this impressive two-tiered waterfall offers a dramatic display of cascading water. The falls consist of two levels: the first tier features a 14-meter cascade with a swimming area, while the second tier boasts the towering 98-meter main drop. The water flows year-round, though it's most impressive during and after the rainy season. The site has been developed with basic amenities including life jacket rentals, bamboo rafts, and picnic tables, making it a popular destination for local families and tourists alike.

How to Get There

From Moalboal, drive north on the main highway for about 45 minutes to Barili. From Barili town center, take a habal-habal to Barangay Campangga (10-15 minutes).
